JBT to give out more than 80 family tickets for Plaza cinema

We are continuing to grow our relationship with Plaza cinema by purchasing tickets for families as we approach the festive season.

Oliver with Martin Fol, Cinema Manager at the Plaza.

Last year, we purchased 50 family tickets for the Plaza that were given out to local schools and youth groups. The initiative was a huge success, enabling families to watch the latest blockbusters without the worry of paying for their tickets - especially at a time of year when energy bills start to increase as the weather turns colder and colder.

We are therefore delighted to announce that, not only will we be running this initiative again this year, but we will be giving away even more tickets. This year, JBT have purchased over 80 family tickets to be given out to the local community. Each ticket provides entry for two adults and two children, allowing 320 local residents to experience the latest films free-of-charge.

The Plaza cinema has been a pilar in the community for years, and for Jacob, a passionate film enthusiast, it was a regular destination. This makes it especially meaningful for us to support the Plaza through this initiative, with the purchase of the tickets contributing up to £1,500 of funds for the Plaza.

JBT will be in contact with local schools and youth groups to distribute the tickets to those who would benefit the most. If you know a particular school or group that you think would benefit from these tickets, please get in touch with Adam, our Community Lead, who will be happy to hear your suggestions (adam@jacobbillingtontrust.com)

Martin Fol, Cinema Manager at the Plaza, had this to say on working with JBT once again.

"The Plaza continues its partnership with JBT to jointly support local families. Both the Plaza and JBT look forward to seeing the positive impact that this initiative will have on the families that receive the tickets".

All JBT Trustees would like to thank Martin and everyone at the Plaza for working with us on this initiative.
