On Friday night, Birkenhead Park Cricket Club was transformed into an all-night music party - what a night!
An amazing night was had by all at Birkenstock 2023 - a celebration of music in honour of Jacob, and raising money for the JBT. As Keith Billington put so perfectly, this night was exactly the sort of event Jacob would have loved.

Thank you to Career Connect for organising such a well-run event. The venue looked fantastic and we are so grateful that they chose to donate all proceeds to the JBT. You all did a sterling job!
Thank you to the brilliant bands that kept everyone entertained all night. We heard some fantastic covers as well as a nice mix of original material. Every band was a massive hit with the crowd!
And, finally, a HUGE thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket to the event, and continued to support the event by purchasing raffle tickets on the night. The money raised for the JBT will go a really long way in helping us create more and more opportunies for young people to access the creative arts in Sefton.
